Texas Tech Part of Nationwide Teaching Program

There's something of a nationwide education crisis, and Texas has been called to the rescue.   The National Science Foundation will give Texas Tech more than $700,000.

In exchange, Tech will graduate more math and science teachers. Tech is one of 20 universities to participate in this prestigious program which is called the Noyce Scholars Fund.
