Idaho Prisoners To Leave Littlefield

NewsChannel 11 has confirmed reports that the state of Idaho will pull all its prisoners out of the prison in Littlefield.

Currently Idaho has more than 300 prisoners in the Bill Clayton Detention Center. But officals from that state say they believe prison guards falsified paperwork. Idaho officials also claim the prison is chronically understaffed.

The prisoners will be moved to Sayre, Oklahoma. By contract, Idaho must give the Littlefield prison 60-days notice, which happened Thursday.
