Lubbock Gas Prices Continue to Fall - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Falling gas prices seem to be the silver lining of the struggling economy.

Drivers in Independence, Missouri got a chance to fill up for $1.61 at several gas stations Monday morning. AAA says gas prices have fallen at least a dollar a gallon in most states in the past month.

In Lubbock, Bolton is selling for $1.85 a gallon, but NewsChannel 11 also spotted $1.84 at the WalMart on 82nd and Milwaukee. Most stations around town are below $1.90. 

Those prices are lower than the national average which $2.24 a gallon.
