Lubbock State School Fails Inspection

More bad news for the Lubbock State School. According to the Dallas Morning News, quality rating system recently gave the facility a 20 out of a possible 100. Only two other state schools scored as low.

The Lubbock State School's most recent quality review took place this summer. The report states that the staff could not prevent the residents from punching, kicking, biting, and sexually abusing one another. And there were times that injuries were not reported at all.

The U.S. Justice Department reviewed the school in 2005 finding bad living conditions, and 17 deaths over an 18 month period.
