Robotic Legs Being Tested in Japan

One of Japan's largest automakers, Honda, has developed robotic legs to help workers who stand or crouch in the same position for a long time.

The "Walking Assist Device" works by redistributing body weight along its frame and lightening the weight on the worker's legs.  Honda believes these bionic legs will be in big demand especially on factory floors.

The legs will not be made available to the public until after they are tested at a factory in Japan later this month.
