Two Tech Students Killed in Weekend Accident

Two Texas Tech students were killed and two others injured after a weekend accident in Grimes County. DPS says 19-year-olds Jeffrey Michael Inns and Kyle Drew Anderson, both of Montgomery, died Sunday when the car they were riding in collided head on with a pickup.

Also in the car were Texas Tech students Marissa Whitworth, Chelsea Wiseman, and the driver Robert Baigrie. Authorities say Baigrie veered into oncoming traffic, into the pickup's path. Inns and Anderson were pronounced dead at the scene. Whitworth and Wiseman were taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital. Their condition was unknown as of 10 pm Monday.
