Dump Truck Falls into East Lubbock Ravine, Driver Injured - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A truck driver was flown to a Lubbock hospital Friday morning, after his dump truck landed in a creek bed.

AeroCare was called to the crash site in the 5000 block of Olive, just east of Loop 289 on 50th Street. A passerby spotted the vehicle around 9:30 a.m. First responders used the "jaws of life" to free the 50-year-old man trapped inside.

Authorities are still trying to figure out how and when this accident happened. The driver's name and condition are still unavailable at this time.
