Early Morning Stabbing in Central Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man is in stable condition after a stabbing Friday morning.

Police say the suspect was intoxicated when he arrived at a house in the 5000 block of 53rd Street around 5am.

The resident told police that she initially let the man in, but later asked him to leave. When he refused, she called her ex-boyfriend for help. The suspect still refused to leave, and pulled a knife. He allegedly stabbed the ex-boyfriend several times in the abdomen.

The suspect is now in the Lubbock County Jail awaiting arraignment. The victim is recovering in a Lubbock hospital.
