According to Covenant's Dr. Chris Shanklin, the flu shot is your first line of defense from getting the flu.
However, there are some things to consider before getting a flu shot. The only people that don't need a flu shot are the people that have severe allergies to eggs. If you have ever had a severe allergy to flu shot itself. People that are moderately sick or ill at the time that they come to get a flu shot should probably wait till they get over that illness.
