The Lubbock District Attorney's office will pursue murder charges against a woman who allegedly set her husband on fire. Antonio Berrera died over the weekend. Berrera had been in critical condition at UMC. Now his wife, Rosa will face a murder charge. She is also facing two Aggravated Assault charges, but Assistant District Attorney, Brian Kingston says those charges will probably be dropped.
The incident happened in the 2000 block of 10th St. on August 31st. Witnesses say the couple had been arguing, when Rosa threw gasoline on Antonio and lit him on fire.
