Collision Causes Traffic Delay During Rush Hour

It happened around 4:30 Monday at the intersection of 50th St. and Indiana. Lubbock Police say the driver of a white SUV was pulling out of the United Market Street parking lot when the vehicle collided with a gray passenger vehicle.

The driver of that car suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries. She was taken to Covenant Medical Center by EMS. Traffic was backed up for some time, until the wreckage could be cleared.
