On Thursday, the Lubbock City Council will look into possible zoning changes regarding alcohol sales. One council member is already voicing his stance on the subject. Councilman Todd Klein released a statement saying quote:
"For me, the question simply comes down to how do we, as a city, vend a legal product that is already within the city in the most mature and responsible manner that best promotes public safety".
Klein also says if packaged alcohol sales pass in Lubbock - he believes the zoning issue of sales for off premise consumption should be closely studied.
