Courts and Crime 9.17

The trial began Tuesday for a man accused robbing another man at gun point. Police say, last October, Jerome Nelson threatened Robert Roberson with a gun and then robbed him. Nelson has one previous conviction for burglary.

Meanwhile, in a separate trial, Michael Childers is facing rape charges. Police say Childers raped a woman in January. He is in the Lubbock County Jail on $200,000 bond.
