LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Alan Voskuil scored 28 points and hit eight 3-pointers to lead Texas Tech past Eastern Kentucky 98-84 on Saturday.

John Roberson scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half for Texas Tech (4-0), who shot 62 percent from the floor and connected, on 14-of-22 3-pointers.

Mike Rose scored 25 points and Papa Oppong added 17 for Eastern Kentucky (1-2).

Voskuil was 10-of-14 from the floor and 8-of-11 from 3-point range. He scored nine points in a 12-0 run that gave the Red Raiders a 36-12 advantage in the first half.
