BREAKING NEWS: McCain Coming To Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 has confirmed Monday evening, from a spokesperson and from information on the Internet, that former Presidential Candidate John McCain will be the commencement speaker for the Texas Tech University Graduate School. 

The event will be on campus, December 12th at 4 p.m.  It is not yet known to what extent the event will be open to the public or the media.  NewsChannel 11 expects an official announcement sometime Tuesday.
