Slaton Wins School Spirit Showdown

With a record 208,589 votes logged in at kcbd.com for the Festive 4 Finals, Slaton pulled out the win in the School Spirit Showdown with 36% of the vote.

Slaton won by almost 14,000 votes to beat out Whiteface, who finished 2nd with 30% of the vote. Shallowater was third with 18% and Lorenzo finished 4th with 16%.

The School Spirit Showdown brought to you by Spirit Chrysler Jeep and South Plains College started with 77 area schools and over the last 10 weeks, we were flooded with votes at kcbd.com.

Slaton wins the $3,000 Grand Prize and the Championship Trophy and Pete Christy will make the official presentation next week. Congrats to Slaton, the winner of the School Spirit Showdown!!!
