Texico Police say two or possibly three men broke into a home Tuesday night, beat three victims violently, and robbed them at gunpoint. One of the victims died from a gunshot.
Texico is just on the other side of the Texas/New Mexico border. The victim is identified as Elvin Osmin Orellanna Rivera of Honduras. All of the victims are foreign nationals.
The suspects are Hispanic males who spoke broken English. One wore a black vest with a long sleeve undershirt. The other one or two were reported to be wearing hoodie jackets. One was said to be somewhat obese.
