Chancellor Reaches Out to Students Affected by Mumbai Attacks - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Chancellor Kent Hance extended his concern to Texas Tech's foreign students, who have family affected by the recent terrorist attacks in India. 
  
Hance tells NewsChannel 11, "It was a shock to them, and it concerned them. Some had lived there all had families their so it was quite a moment there for them, that was a moment of tragedy."

Last week's attacks in Mumbai killed more than 170 people.  As of Wednesday, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice is there in India, urging Pakistan to cooperate fully with an investigation into the attack.  She would like to ease tension before escalates between India and Pakistan.
