Active Sprinkling Systems in Violation of City Ordinance

If your automatic sprinkler is still set to run in this cold weather, you are in violation of a Lubbock city ordinance. 

NewsChannel 11 spotted Mandry Technoligies in south Lubbock, completely iced over Thursday morning. The ordinance prohibits homes and businesses from watering when the temperature is at 35 degrees or lower.

Violators could face a Class C misdemeanor and a fine of up to $200.
