Over a third of Americans are not getting the exercise they need every week. New guidelines from the department of health and human services recommend two and a half hours of moderate physical activity a week, which could be 30 minutes of walking five times a week or however you want to break up that two and a half hours.
If you exercise vigorously, the new guidelines say you need 75 minutes a week. This comes after a CDC study found that Americans are not educated on the health benefits of exercise the biggest of which is a healthier life, and more of it.
