Lubbock Man Wins Sonic Car Giveaway

A swipe at Sonic landed a Lubbock man in a new car Saturday morning. Johnny Dailey won the Sonic Toyota Prius Giveaway.

More than 80 people won the chance to swipe a sonic gift card Saturday morning, including five winners from the U-Can Share Food Drive. Other prizes included Sonic gift cards and free gas.

"I was totally surprised, because I've never in my life won anything like this," said Dailey. He also said he won't keep the car himself. Instead, Dailey plans to give it to his granddaughter for her high school graduation present.
