Fitch Bond Rating Agency Places Littlefield on Negative Ratings Watch - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Fitch Bond Rating Agency places the City of Littlefield on a "negative" ratings watch.  The ruling is specific to $1.4 million of debt. However, it is indirectly related to $9 million of additional debt. 

All the debt in question was issued for the construction of the Bill Clayton Detention Center. 

NewsChannel 11 reported last month that the state of Idaho pulled its prisoners out of that facility.
