South Plains Food Bank Needs Help To Reach Goal

The U Can Share Food Drive ended Saturday but the South Plains Food Bank still needs your help. The drive fell short of its 600,000 pound goal. As of Tuesday afternoon, SPFB told NewsChannel 11 that they were just shy of 300,000 pounds of food.

The food bank is still accepting donations and need your help to meet the increase in demand this holiday season. If you are out at the grocery store, pick up a few cans. There are white bins on the way out of the United Supermarkets that you cannot miss.On your way out drop a few cans in.

Don't forget the South Plains Food Bank is always accepting cash donations. NewsChannel 11 told you last week that the food bank can make seven meals with just one dollar. Every can counts and every dollar counts. Help the food bank meet its goal.
