Sprinkler Overflow Freezes, Causing Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Police say overflow from a sprinkler caused an accident in West Lubbock.

Authorities tell us 61-year-old Dennis Armstrong was about to get on the Loop, when he flipped his pick-up around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Investigators determined overflow from a nearby sprinkler system froze on the access road where Armstrong lost control.

Armstrong went to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.
