Birdsall Memorial Unveiled

Dr. Douglas Birdsall was honored Wednesday at a ceremony on the Texas Tech campus. A sculpture, called "Windsong II" by Michael Masse was dedicated, as a memorial to Dr. Birdsall.

At the time of his death, Dr. Birdsall served as Associate Dean of Libraries at Texas Tech, and he established an Art in the Library committee. The committee felt the sculpture was a fitting tribute to the memory of Dr. Birdsall.
