Two Teens Will Spend Next Five Years on Probation

Two Hale Center boys will spend the next five years of their lives on probation. One of the 13 year-olds pleaded guilty the other pleaded no contest to bringing a gun to school.

NewsChannel 11 first told you the story on September 6th, when police say one of the boys brought the gun to Carr Middle School. It was passed around throughout the day and police say it ended up in the hands of the second boy. Carr Middle School expelled both of them for the rest of the school year. They will attend school at the Hale County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program.
