Lubbock Part Of Worldwide Event - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The local portion of a world-wide event will be held at Covenant Lakeside.  It's called the compassionate friends remembrance.  Anyone who has experienced the loss of a child is invited. It's December 14th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Margaret Talkington Prayer Garden. 

At each location worldwide, candles are lit at 7 p.m. local time, and so it creates a virtual wave of light all over the world for 24 hours.
