People all across America joined together Saturday morning to honor service men and woman and the sacrifices they've made. Members of the Lubbock Civil Air Patrol gathered at the Lubbock City Cemetery for Wreaths Across America. They joined organizations across the country in a moment of silence that began exactly at 11:00 a.m.
The group will lay 160 wreaths on the graves of veterans. "This is an opportunity to teach our children, in our case our cadets, what exactly veterans mean to us and why it is important to memorialize veterans and actually say thank you when we run into someone on the street," Captain Stephen White said.
