Early Morning Homicide Lands Lubbock Woman Behind Bars

Lubbock Police continue to investigate an early morning homicide. Tiffany Pitts, 32, is charged with murder and is being held in the Lubbock County Jail.

Police got a 911 call for a domestic disturbance at 4:41 Sunday morning. They arrived at the Green Gable Apartments to find 26-year-old Joshua Caleb Hope with a single stab wound to his chest. They also found what they describe as a "hysterical female."

Police say Hope and Pitts lived together. They believe the two went out last night and got into an argument when they returned home.

EMS transported Hope to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
