Texas Tech sophomore wide receiver Michael Crabtree took home his second Biletnikoff Award, while offensive tackle Rylan Reed joined Crabtree on the Walter Camp All-American Team at the annual ESPNU/Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Thursday in Orlando, Florida.

Crabtree finished the regular season with 93 receptions for 1,135 yards and 18 touchdowns. Along the way he tied an NCAA record with 13-straight games, dating back to last season, with at least five catches and a touchdown. In 25 career games, Crabtree owns the school record with 3,097 receiving yards and 40 touchdowns. His TD total ranks among the NCAA's all-time best. The All-America honor is the second of the postseason for Crabtree as he also was named to the American Football Coaches Association's (AFCA) team, along with quarterback Graham Harrell and offensive guard Brandon Carter.

Reed emerged this season as one of the more dominant tackles in the country, protecting Harrell's blind side and allowing only one sack in over 500 passing attempts by Harrell. He also anchored an offensive line that helped produce ten 100-yard rushing games for the first time since 1979. Reed's contributions along the line have also earned him several All-Big 12 Conference mentions. The offensive unit produced one of the nation's leading total offenses and passing offenses.

Crabtree earned unanimous consensus All-American honors last season after being named to the five recognized teams for the honor by the NCAA - Football Writer's Association of America (FWAA), The Sporting News, Associated Press, Walter Camp and AFCA. Being named to three teams qualifies as consensus status. The FWAA team will be announced on ABC on Saturday, while The Sporting News will be released Tuesday.

No. 7 Texas Tech (11-1) is currently holding workouts in preparation for its Jan. 2 Cotton Bowl meeting with No. 25 Mississippi (8-4). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT on FOX.
