Emergency Landing at LIA

A Delta 737 aircraft made an emergency landing at Lubbock International Airport, just after five o'clock Monday. The flight originated in Dallas, and was headed to Ontario, California when crew members reported a fire in the galley of the plane.

NewsChannel 11 has learned the fire may have been caused by a short in an oven, and the a fire extinguisher was used to put the fire out. There were 83 people on board. No injuries have been reported.
