Toys For Tots Gets Stuffed Saab

Toys for Tots are getting some much needed help from a local car dealership.  The Scoggin Dickey dealership donated the use of a Saab, which was driven all over town to various businesses to collect toys.   The theme of the event was... Stuff The Saab. 

Those toys will now be turned over to Marine Corps volunteers who are running the Toys for Tots campaign.   And then eventually those toys will be given to needy kids in Lubbock.  Captain Matthew Beuchert with the U.S. Marine Corps says, "The goal this year is 18,000 toys. We are almost there obviously everything we can get from folks like Saab & Scoggin Dickey helps." The Marines will distribute those toys next week.   You can still drop toys into the Toys for Tots barrels all over town including Scoggin Dickey and the South Plains Mall.
