Lubbock County Commissioners To Announce Alcohol Petition Results

Monday, Lubbock County Commissioners are expected to release the results of the alcohol sales petition.

In November, the political action committee "Let Lubbock Vote" turned in more than 18,000 signatures needed to put alcohol sales on the ballot. The Lubbock County Office of Elections then had 1 month to verify all the signatures.

If enough signatures are verified, Lubbock residents will vote on the issue on May 9th. To vote in the election, you must be registered to vote in Lubbock County by April 9th.
