Six people went to the hospital in Lubbock Tuesday night when a truck pulling a trailer careened out of control. The driver of the white truck told police his brakes failed while he was exiting I-27 at 34th St. Police say the truck broad sided an El Camino driving west on 34th St. The truck then jumped a curb sending the trailer into a Ford Taurus that was also driving west. When the truck stopped the trailer had jack knifed in the parking lot of a convenience store. That's when another car slammed into the trailer as it tried to pass.
After all that, EMS took six people to the hospital, none with more than moderate injuries.
