One of the flights that was delayed Tuesday was bringing a soldier home to Lubbock just in time for Christmas. "It feels great, after 9 months of being over there, glad to get to be here for Christmas," said Reynaldo Medrano.
A dozen family members greeted Reynaldo Medrano as he arrived at the airport from being in Afghanistan since March. Though being home for the holidays is a plus, Medrano says he can't wait to rest and relax with his family, especially his daughter.
When he left she was just a baby , and now he'll be able to see her walking.
