Services Set for Teacher Killed Following Traffic Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Funeral arrangements have been set for a longtime Lubbock schoolteacher who died last Friday.

Joanna Dunn was in a car accident at 93rd and Slide last week. At first, her injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening; she was even able to talk to her family at the hospital after the accident. She died later during surgery.

Dunn taught 6th grade at Honey Elementary until two years ago, when she moved to Mackenzie to teach 8th grade English.

The funeral will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The family tells us they are asking those who attend to not wear black.
