New information on Wednesday's homicide investigation of a 36-year-old Lubbock woman. Autopsy results say Michelle Evette Williams died from a sharp force injury. Police say someone slashed William's throat.
A man found her body on Wednesday just before noon, behind a flea market building at 2808 Idalou Road. Her family says neighbors had seen her fighting with a man earlier that morning, just a few blocks away. Police have continued questioning suspects. No arrests have been made.
Medical examiners say toxicology results should be released in a couple of weeks. This makes the ninth homicide investigation for Lubbock police this year.
