Authorities captured him two years ago, but prosecutors say it will still be months before Beau Musacco goes to trial. He's charged with the October 2006 death of Antonio Aguilar. Aguilar's body was found at 33rd and Avenue X. Autopsy reports showed he had been shot in the head. Investigators believe he was shot somewhere else, and dumped at the intersection.

Musacco is jailed in New Mexico though, charged with a double shooting on New Year's Eve 2007. That's when investigators say he killed two women along Interstate 40 who stopped to help him.

KOAT-TV  in Albuquerque spoke with the District Attorney there. Kari Brandenburg told the TV station that Musacco's is a complex case. She says it will take three more months before the case goes to trial.

There's no trial date set for the Lubbock case.
