Building a New Legacy

With every cut, team captain Rhonda Graham is making it happen. Graham says she'll continue volunteering for the next couple of weeks. Together hundreds of volunteers will help build one of the biggest playgrounds in the country. "I have a three year old and an 8-year-old and we just think it's going to be a wonderful place to come and play for the whole community," says volunteer, Don Pickery.

Volunteers showed up early on the first day of construction, but it's the kids that designed it. "They need something special and I think this will be real special when they get finished," says Graham. No matter what your skill level is anyone can come out here and help.

The new playground be about two acres wide, complete with tunnels, slides, and bridges. It sounds like a challenge for anyone to build. But no challenge is too big for Rhonda, and as far as she's concerned there's no excuse not to help. "There's enough jobs out here and enough supplies that there's nobody that can't do something out here,"says Graham.
