Poll Results: Water & Sewer Lines Should Be First - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Last week, NewsChannel 11 broke the story that the Lubbock City Council will talk about a possible bond election.  So, ahead of that discussion, we asked for your thoughts in a web poll KCBD.com  

In response to the question, "Which of these is the most important project for the city council to do first?"

• 43% said refurbish major streets like 34th and 82nd
• 44% said new water lines and sewer lines
•  6%  said renovate the auditorium, coliseum, & civic center
•  3%  said new playground equipment in parks 
•  4%  said new soccer fields

The council meets Thursday to talk about the possible bond election.   There is no election date set.  For now, this is just a discussion item.
