Visit Lubbock Head Turns in Resignation - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 has confirmed the resignation of a Lubbock tourism official. Marcy Jarrett has resigned as Executive Director of "Visit Lubbock."

Her boss, Gary Lawrence with the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance, says it's a "friendly" separation. She's free to pursue other interests and will stay for three months or until her replacement is found. Lawrence did not give any specifics but says Jarrett helped increase tourism in Lubbock since she came in mid 2004.
