SPC Student Gives Back In Europe - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A college freshman from Levelland found herself unexpectedly in the small European nation of Moldova. South Plains College Student Lori Montgomery donated $10 toward new boots for orphans. She and eight other donors were then chosen by Baptist Child and Family Services to go deliver the boots in person earlier this month.

A written statement says Montgomery didn't think much about it after making her donation, and news of the trip was a surprise. Montgomery is quoted as saying she is grateful that God chose her for a chance to make the trip to Moldova.
