Lubbock's Southwest Sport Complex Complete By Spring - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Mayor Tom Martin says the Southwest Sports complex at 122nd Street & Milwaukee is nearing completion.   It should be ready for games this spring.   There's already one major tournament booked for this summer, which will bring a thousand girls and their families to Lubbock from all over Texas.

There are 12 girls' softball fields; three little league fields and one pony league baseball field. The soccer fields are not yet ready. Mayor Martin says those will come with the next phase of funding.
