The 2009 Recreation and Leisure Services Spring Activity Guide is now available. Inside, you will find all the usual spring activities that the City of Lubbock is known for.
It includes special events and classes in Arts and Crafts, Communication, Cooking, Computers, Personal Development, Photography, Fitness, Health and Relaxation, Nature and more.
There are classes for every age including Parent-Child, Pre-school, Youth, Teen, Adults and Older Active Adults. In addition, the Libraries, Buddy Holly Center, Silent Wings Museum, Civic Services, Tennis Center, Athletic Leagues, Animal Services and Health Department have their activities and programs listed in this all-inclusive City guide.
The guide is 24 pages of information covering activities from January through May.
Class registration for the spring session is currently underway at the City's Community and Senior Centers and the Garden and Arts Center.
