Just minutes before our 10 p.m. Wednesday newscast, Lubbock Police alerted all other local law enforcement about a missing elderly person.
She has not been officially diagnosed with Alzheimers but, according to a law enforcement bulletin, her family suspects that she has the condition. She has not been seen since going to the grocery store at 5 p.m.
The missing woman is Nelda Marie Dippel. She was last seen in a 1997 gold or tan Honda She is described as a white female, grey hair, 5'6" tall and is about 73-years-old.
