Lubbock Centenarian Turns 104

There's no way that we can say Happy Birthday to everybody on the news, but if you turn 104-years- old, then we'll gladly send a news crew to your birthday party.

And that's what we did Thursday for Bessie Pickens.  That birthday girl says her secret is "living a clean life".  She's lived through 12 presidents, the great depression and she was ready to go to school the year that Lubbock was incorporated.

Happy Birthday, Bessie.
