The Texas Tech women's basketball broke a five game losing streak away from the United Spirit Arena with their first road win of the season 57-49 over the Kansas Jayhawks at Allen Field House Saturday evening.
The win improves Texas Tech to 11-5 and 2-1 in the Big 12 Conference. The Lady Raiders shot 42 percent from the field while holding the Jayhawks to 28 percent shooting and only one of 13 from behind the arc.
Senior forward Dominic Seals led with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while senior guard Maria Moore was the only other Lady Raider in double digits with 11. Tech returns to the United Spirit Arena on Wednesday as they host 17th ranked Kansas State at 7pm.
