Farmer Stockman Show Comes to an End

It will be another year before one of Lubbock's premiere agribusiness shows makes it way back to the Hub City. The 10th annual Farmer Stockman show came to an end Saturday afternoon. Thousands of people from across the world came to Lubbock to see what is new and popular in the ag industry. The show featured more than 100 exhibitors. The economic impact of this year's event is estimated at $2-million.

Sunday marks the annual Saddle up for St. Jude's trail ride. The event is hosted by the 4-Bar-K Ranch and benefits the St. Jude's research hospital in Memphis. The money raised will go towards prevention and treatment of children's diseases, such as Leukemia. Check in starts Sunday at 1 p.m. For more information call Chuck Kershner at (806) 789-8682.
