A Lubbock man is dead, following an early morning accident east of town.
DPS Troopers responded to East 19th and Wood Avenue at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday. They say Ronald Earl Lewis, 48, apparently veered off the road, overcorrected and entered a side skid, which caused the Ford Focus to roll about four times.
Troopers say Lewis was thrown out the car and died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
