Learning New Traditions at Lubbock Lake Landmark - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

It was a weekend full of celebration at the Lubbock Lake Landmark. More than 200 people showed up to learn about the history of the Llano Estacado.

Understanding and preserving our culture was the theme of Celebration 2002. People learned about basket weaving, Native American beading, quilting, spear throwing, and many other Native American traditions. The annual festival was dubbed a success.
